Blood Orange and Pomegranate Smoothie
Our friend Quinn Poer shared this smoothie bowl with us that’s almost as stunning as it is delicious! She combined vibrant fruit like blood orange, berries, and mango with creamy additions like almond milk and avocado. The result is nothing short of breath-taking. Be sure to raid your pantry for toppings! We love topping this bowl with flaked coconut, shredded coconut, chopped dark chocolate, and chia seeds.
1-2 medium blood oranges, peeled
1 medium pear, cored
1 medium avocado, halved, pit and skin discarded
1/2 of a medium lemon, peeled (not just the juice)
1/4 c unsweetened almond milk
1/4 c pomegranate juice (plus extra for color, juiciness)
1/4 c frozen pomegranate arils
1/4 c frozen blueberries
1/2 c frozen mango chunks
1/2 c ice cubes
Blend until smooth, adding extra ice cubes or avocado to thicken.
Top with unsweetened flaked coconut, shredded coconut, chopped dark chocolate, chia seeds, fresh mango slices, blood orange slices, and fresh blueberries. Enjoy!
