 Baked Hummus Dip

Whether you’re looking for a new snack to make for the big game or are having friends over, it’s hard to resist a warm, comforting appetizer. This ooey gooey cheese dip is made with handful of simple ingredients and is packed with protein thanks to the secret ingredient: hummus.   • 1 container of hummus* (like Blue Moose Original Hummus)

  • 1 c chopped baby spinach

  • 1/4 c chopped kalamata olives

  • 3 Tbsp diced sun-dried tomatoes

  • 1 1/2 c shredded sharp cheddar cheese

  • Chopped parsley*, to top

  1. Preheat oven to 400 F. Grease an 8x5’’ casserole dish (or similar size).

  2. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together hummus, spinach, olives, and tomatoes.

  3. Spread evenly into the casserole dish.

  4. Top with cheese and bake for 15 minutes.

  5. Broil for 1-3 minutes until bubbly and browned. Watch closely, as it will burn quickly.

  6. Top with parsley and serve with desired accompaniments.

Recipe Notes and Variations

If you don’t have olives, sun-dried tomatoes, or spinach on hand, experiment with different pairings like herbs, roasted garlic, or crumbled feta!
